<p>This  5-day session provides candidates with the opportunity to visit and  practice their auditing skills at a different site every day.</p>
<p><strong>COURSE OBJECTIVE</strong></p>
<p>To  equip candidates with auditing experience to generate enough hours to  register with an auditing body as an auditor, lead auditor or subject  specialist.</p>
<p>120 auditing hours in the presence of a lead auditor  is normally required as a prerequisite before an individual may apply  for registration with an auditors association.</p>
<p><strong>COURSE OUTCOMES</strong></p>
<p>At  the end of this session, with the use of the ISO19011 and the choice of  ISO9001, ISO14001 or OHSAS18001 standards, the candidate will be able  to:</p>

<li>Apply his/her existing theoretical auditing knowledge in practice on actual sites.</li>
<li>Gain experience in opening meetings.</li>
<li>Gain experience in physical walk-throughs of sites and the conduct of an auditor during this phase.</li>

<li>Experience how to ask the correct questions and delve deeper to find objective evidence.</li>
<li>Experience how to generate actual non-conformances.</li>
<li>Experience where to allocate non-conformances.</li>

<p>This standard course includes the course content as  listed above (as is required by law). This is the no frills, straight  forward course that will ensure compliance.</p>

<p><strong>AUDITING SESSIONS:</strong></p>
<p>The Auditing Sessions is a  unique Advantage ACT service designed to provide the candidate with an  opportunity to accumulate  the  required auditing  hours  in  the   presence  of a SAATCA Lead Auditor towards becoming a registered  auditor (OHSAS18001, ISO9001 or ISO14001) with an auditing body.</p>
<p>This  5-day session provides candidates with the opportunity to visit and  practice their auditing skills at a different site every day.</p>
<p><strong>COURSE OBJECTIVE</strong></p>
<p>To  equip candidates with auditing experience to generate enough hours to  register with an auditing body as an auditor, lead auditor or subject  specialist.</p>
<p>120 auditing hours in the presence of a lead auditor  is normally required as a prerequisite before an individual may apply  for registration with an auditors association.</p>
<p><strong>COURSE OUTCOMES</strong></p>
<p>At  the end of this session, with the use of the ISO19011 and the choice of  ISO9001, ISO14001 or OHSAS18001 standards, the candidate will be able  to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Apply his/her existing theoretical auditing knowledge in practice on actual sites.</li>
<li>Gain experience in opening meetings.</li>
<li>Gain experience in physical walk-throughs of sites and the conduct of an auditor during this phase.</li>
<li>Experience how to do document control.</li>
<li>Experience how to ask the correct questions and delve deeper to find objective evidence.</li>
<li>Experience how to generate actual non-conformances.</li>
<li>Experience where to allocate non-conformances.</li>
<li>Experience how to transfer non-conformances onto the non-conformance matrix.</li>
<li>Participate in daily exit meetings.</li>
<li>Gain experience in conducting final close-out meetings.</li>
<li>Compile audit reports.</li>
<li>Generate a set of 30 auditing hours in the presence of a Lead auditor per auditing session week.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>AUDIT LOG SHEET</strong></p>
<p>Your audit log sheet will  be signed by a SAATCA Lead auditor.  It will be possible to accumilate  30 audit hours during a 5-day Audit Session.</p>
