Engen Ghana wins four corporate awards
Engen Ghana won four Engen international awards, including a sheq award, at the Engen International Business Division Awards hosted in Cape Town in May 2012.
Engen refiners, service stations and commercial fuels and lubricants suppliers were judged against Engen operations in 17 countries, as Leader of the Year (to MD Menry Akwaboah); Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Affiliate of the Year; Affiliate of the Year, exceeding profit target by 20%; and Best Dealer in West Africa for City Centre Service Station.
The awarded Henry Akwaboah, Engen Oil Ghana MD, said his team was dedicated to customer service and, excellence in product quality.
Engen Oil Ghana’s 2016 vision is to become the leading petrochemicals downstream company, and to raise their African market share to 10%.
The annual Engen conference takes stock of the previous year and rewards national divisions that excelled in their areas of operation.
Engen Ghana started in 1998 and has enjoyed steady growth in retail and commercial fuels sectors. Operations have grown substantially to 24 service stations in Ghana.
Conference delegates also discuss issues affecting member affiliates and appraise their performances.
The company’s functions are refining of crude oil, marketing of primary refined petroleum products, and convenience services by a retail network. Source: GNA
