COURSE OBJECTIVES
The aim of the Advantage ACT ISO14001: 2004 course is to equip you with knowledge and skill to perform ISO-based internal programme/system functions effectively and with confidence.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

- Identify the purpose of an Environmental audit
- Discuss an Environmental Policy Statement
- Identify the importance of Environmental Planning
- Explain the Implementation of an Environmental management system
- Discuss Measurement and Evaluation of an EMS
- Explain Environmental Management Review and Improvement
- Differentiate between different ISO14001 terminology
- Differentiate between aspects and impacts
- Discuss Environmental legal issues
- Understand ISO14001 holistically
- Discuss the Environmental Generic checklist
- The Revised 1S014001: 1996 – What the ISO14001: 2004 edition means to organisations using the standard
PLEASE NOTE
No previous system implementation knowledge and experience is necessary for this course. It would be an advantage if you have an awareness of ISO14001 principles and concepts.
