Sustainability Week July 2012 Sandton programme
Sustainability Week on 25 to 29 July 2012 includes a number of free environmental impact and ecology management events at Sandton Convention Centre in South Africa.
Sustainability Week is the largest meeting of its kind under one roof, sharing applications with the public.
Free public lectures and workshops will be conducted throughout the week, which will also feature an exhibition showcasing a hundred environmental and ecological initiatives for a sustainable future.
Households and members of the public interested in making an eco conscience difference are invited to attend lectures aimed at providing interesting and implementable solutions to be more environmentally friendly.
These sessions will be presented by energy, water and home waste management experts.
Opportunities for the youth, in terms of careers and job prospects in the green economy, will be presented on Saturday 28 July 2012, says Gordon Brown, director of alive2green.
