The IWH professional body invites health and safety practitioners to work at height registration workshop on 18 September.
The IWH oversees work at height skills training according to registered standards, safe practice of Work at Height Professionals, and liaises with CEPs on Work at Height standard practices, regulations and legislation.
Followoing many enquiries from health and safety specialists and employers on work at height legislation and registration issues, as well as the interpretation of the new Construction Regulations regarding Work at Height, and other legislation, best practice notes and guidelines, the body will host a half day seminar on Work at Height for OHS practitioners.
The free seminar will be held in Gauteng. OHS practitioners can use this opportunity to listen to the Work at Height Community of Expert practitioners regarding different industries, including Scaffolding, MEWPs, TSPs, Rope Access, Ladders, Formwork, Fall Arrest, and Fall Prevention.
Questions will be taken. The date is 18 September 2014 from 8:30 to 13:00, at a venue to be announced. The IWH has called for a suitable venue sponsor.
