First Aid training providers gets a break

The Chief Inspector of Labour, Tibor Szana, has finally reached a sensible conclusion and withdrew an earlier notice giving first aid training providers until 22 August 2018 to get QCTO Accredited or seize to operate.

First Aid training organisations currently registered i.t.o GSR 3(4) now have until 31 March 2020 to become QCTO Accredited before applying for registration by the Department. This is extension of time is only valid if an application for accreditation is submitted to the QCTO by no later than 30 April 2019.

Now let’s hope the QCTO is capable of handling this process, as the previous DOL appointed “body” failed dismally!
