Network9 in partnership with Sheqafrica.com will be launching a new magazine for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry, called Construction Risk Africa, which will focus predominantly on Risk Management in these sectors to promote compliance in the Built Environment.
The magazine will go live on the net in July 2019 and will boast articles on Design Risk Management, Project Risk Management and Construction Risk Management. It will also publish news and events happening in the AEC sector and provide readers with the latest CPD workshops offered through-out Africa.
The launch-edition of the magazine will be specifically for South Africa, with the rest of Africa to follow in 2020.
The line-up of authors contributing to the new publication has already been determined, but no names have been released as the final agreements needs to be put in place.
The publication will also provide advertising opportunities for businesses serving the AEC sector specifically in the provision of project management software and BIM solutions. A special Content Marketing Partnership program will enable businesses to reach the AEC decision makers at a fraction of the cost of conventional advertising.
Network9 registered the internet domain name on behalf of Bizstrat, who intended to use it for a conference, but after failing to pay for the service, suspended it indefinitely. A source familiar with the Bizstrat business closure, told Sheqafrica.com that Network9 requested the transfer of the domain for its own use. “They registered it, the never got paid for it, so they might as well use it as a magazine. We think it is a great idea and many companies can benefit from it.” the source said.
